Because the Trust is not registered for Gift Aid, every penny you give is what you give — there is no top-up from HMRC, but there is also no administrative deduction. The trustees take no expenses. The accounts are independently examined. This is, in the old sense of the phrase, a quiet charity.

Gift Aid

BASH TRUST is not currently registered for Gift Aid with HMRC, because the cost of administering the scheme is not warranted by our small flow of donations. If you would like to make a Gift Aid declaration anyway, we will keep your declaration on file in case we register in future. There is a tickbox below.

Card details

A nominal card form, for demonstration. No card details are sent to a real processor on this site.

Other ways to give.

By bank transfer. If you would prefer to give by bank transfer (which avoids the small card processing cost), write to us at [email protected] and we will send the Trust's account details by return.

By cheque. Cheques made payable to "BASH TRUST" can be sent to the registered office at Gray's Inn Tax Chambers, 36 Queen Street, London EC4R 1BN. We will post you a receipt.

By legacy. If you are considering remembering the Trust in your will, please do speak to your solicitor. We are pleased to provide a short paragraph of suggested wording on request, and we will of course always thank legators in our annual report unless asked not to.

Questions about giving?

The Chair or a trustee will answer in person — write to [email protected] or call the registered office during working hours.
