Support the Trust
A gift, any size, goes quietly into the building.
Donations to BASH TRUST are not spent on advertising, salaries or office costs. Every pound is added to the year's grant budget, which pays for the slates, the joinery, the prayer books and the teaching at the Plymouth Hebrew Congregation's Catherine Street synagogue.
Because the Trust is not registered for Gift Aid, every penny you give is what you give — there is no top-up from HMRC, but there is also no administrative deduction. The trustees take no expenses. The accounts are independently examined. This is, in the old sense of the phrase, a quiet charity.
Other ways to give.
By bank transfer. If you would prefer to give by bank transfer (which avoids the small card processing cost), write to us at [email protected] and we will send the Trust's account details by return.
By cheque. Cheques made payable to "BASH TRUST" can be sent to the registered office at Gray's Inn Tax Chambers, 36 Queen Street, London EC4R 1BN. We will post you a receipt.
By legacy. If you are considering remembering the Trust in your will, please do speak to your solicitor. We are pleased to provide a short paragraph of suggested wording on request, and we will of course always thank legators in our annual report unless asked not to.
